For ten years, a dedicated team led by conny dittrich, iris lommer and monika bohatsch has been organizing four bazaars for children’s clothing and toys every year on a voluntary basis. "100 percent of the total financial proceeds will then go to "actions for children", says conny dittrich and this year she and her team have selected four groups or clubs that will receive a total of 900 euros for their child-specific work. Among them are the scouts of the henneberg tribe as well as a foundation and two associations.
250 euro each will be given to the wurzburg association "regenbogen" for children with cancer and leukemia, the christian presl foundation, for its work in grief counseling, and the "lebensraum schulerinnencafe" association in bad kissingen for his "homework support" project.
Pastor gerd greier, who as a member of the board of this association for schoolchildren from socially disadvantaged backgrounds is familiar with the association’s tight finances, had also drawn the attention of the bazaar team to this issue.
